Lorclon has a commitment to the CSCS scheme to such an extent that we will not start any new staff without it. We insist that their cards is appropriate to the work that they do and all management have the CSCS managers and supervisors test. The director recognises that in particular fields a moments complacency can prove fatal and irreversible so they endeavour to promote a culture of safety awareness throughout all levels of company operations with continuous reviews and feedback used to develop and improve upon our existing performance.

With this in mind the company have become members of the Construction Health & Safety Group and all management have
completed and passed modules 1,2 and 3 of their courses. The directors also insist that at all times on all sites we have someone present with a four day Red Cross first aid course. All accidents are preventable with proper knowledge of and adherence to method statements. Regular tool box talks also help in this regard.
