79 Wagons continuously delivered 578m³ of concrete in 20 hours. Despite the significant influence of traffic in the area and issues with Hansons supply, who were also supporting the Chambers Wharf base plug pour, the team were able to maintain the “live” face at all times.
With only one query received by the Tideway helpdesk and a visit from the London Borough of Ealing Environment Team in the early hours who had no concerns, this is another great example of where any possible impact on the local community was considered at every stage of planning.
Tideway Programme Director, Andy Alder send a message of congratulations to the team “Great work team. Really well done and I know that a lot of hard work went into this. To safely achieve this milestone is a major achievement.”
Well done ACTST!
