Lewisham Gateway

The Lewisham Gateway project involves the development of the area into a more vibrant and better connected town centre. The scheme replaces Lewisham’s northern roundabout with a new highway providing vastly enhanced public space and substantially improves the pedestrian connectivity of the stations to Lewisham town centre and other surrounding areas.

Lorclon are contracted by Volker Fitzpatrick to complete the civil engineering aspect of the project including drainage, service diversion, road formation, paving and kerbing. All of this was done within a very tight time-frame and in a staged fashion to minimise disruption to the travelling public and local businesses.
